Community Institute of Management Studies (CIMS), Bengaluru, is committed to providing a fair, transparent, and student-friendly academic environment. The institution has established a Students' Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) to address and resolve student grievances related to academic, administrative, examination, admission, facilities, and student welfare matters.
The SGRC ensures that grievances are received, examined, and resolved fairly and confidentially. Students are allowed to present their concerns, and appropriate action is taken based on the nature of the grievance.
The institution follows the principles of fairness, transparency, confidentiality, impartiality, and timely redressal. Students are encouraged to first approach the concerned department or authority. If the issue is not resolved, they may submit a grievance to the SGRC.
The SGRC consists of senior faculty members, a woman faculty representative, and other members as prescribed by the applicable regulations.

The institution conducts periodic meetings to review grievances and ensure effective implementation of corrective measures. Students are informed about the grievance redressal mechanism through orientation programmes, notice boards, circulars, and other institutional communication channels.
