OMBUDSPERSON CELL & STUDENTS' GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE (SGRC)

Academic Year: 2025–26 / 2026–27

Community Institute of Management Studies (CIMS), Bengaluru, is committed to providing a fair, transparent, and student-friendly academic environment. The institution has established a Students' Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) to address and resolve student grievances related to academic, administrative, examination, admission, facilities, and student welfare matters.

The SGRC ensures that grievances are received, examined, and resolved fairly and confidentially. Students are allowed to present their concerns, and appropriate action is taken based on the nature of the grievance.

The institution follows the principles of fairness, transparency, confidentiality, impartiality, and timely redressal. Students are encouraged to first approach the concerned department or authority. If the issue is not resolved, they may submit a grievance to the SGRC.

The SGRC consists of senior faculty members, a woman faculty representative, and other members as prescribed by the applicable regulations.

Ombudsperson

Students who are dissatisfied with the decision of the institutional grievance redressal mechanism may approach the Ombudsperson appointed by the affiliating University, as per the applicable regulations.
